How a Fells Point immigration center is rebuilding with the help of a Johns Hopkins disaster group

The Esperanza Center, a nonprofit organization run by Catholic Charities, shut down for several weeks in September after a four-alarm fire at nearby Budeke’s Paint store in Fells Point caused damage to its 12,000 square feet of space at 430 S. Broadway.
