Martin Millspaugh, a leader who helped shape the city's urban renaissance, dies at 92

Martin L. “Marty” Millspaugh, a former Evening Sun reporter who later led a push to redevelop 260 acres downtown into Charles Center and the Inner Harbor, died Tuesday at age 92 after a brief illness. Millspaugh was born in Columbus, Ohio, and raised in Baltimore. He became a journalist, author, lecturer and international real estate consultant and lived in Roland Park where he continued to work on several projects until earlier this month.
