Baltimore City filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration Wednesday, alleging an unlawful policy change the city says discourages immigrants from accepting public benefits like free school lunches. City Solicitor Andre M. Davis said also under the new policy, individuals applying for U.S. Visas or citizenship may be deemed ineligible if they, or their family members, received such non-cash benefits.
