While Amazon.com Inc. didn’t select Maryland as the home of its coveted second headquarters, the retailer did choose our neighbor to the south — Northern Virginia. But Baltimore’s proximity to Crystal City, soon to be renamed “National Landing” as part of Amazon’s move, means there will be thousands of new jobs for professionals in the regiobn.
