The former Harrison’s Chesapeake House on Tilghman will start a new chapter this weekend. The historic hotel has been reimagined as the Wylder Hotel Tilghman Island, which opens its doors to the public Friday at noon. The 54-room resort on 9 acres of Chesapeake Bay waterfront will be the flagship for the new Wylder hotel brand led by CEO John Flannigan, whose resume includes past stints managing and opening boutique hotels like the Hotel Giraffe and the Ace Hotel in New York.
