The commute along Pratt Street downtown is about to get easier. A $60,000 project to remove a small concrete island to establish a taxi cab stand at Pratt and Calvert Streets will soon launch and result in a full lane of traffic, officials of the Downtown Partnership Baltimore said Thursday.
