Actor Wendell Pierce took to Twitter on Thursday to say the city’s newest apartment development located in Station North will open in a month. Pierce, star of the HBO drama “The Wire,” posted the April 6 grand opening of the 103-unit Nelson Kohl Apartments at Charles and Lanvale Streets at 11:30 a.m. He’s an investor in the $22 million project that will have 130 units, an art gallery and street-level Milk and Honey cafe and market.
