Amazon making 'micro' visits to Whole Foods popular

Turning Whole Foods Market Inc. locations into pickup points for Amazon.com Inc. packages is increasing foot traffic at many of the grocer’s stores. That’s according to Reuters, which reported this week on exclusive data from location data advertising firm inMarket. So-called “micro” visits of three to five minutes have increased 11 percent since the Amazon buyout in stores with Amazon Locker banks, where customers of the online retailer can pick up or drop off packages, according to inMarket.
