An Eastern Shore logistics is nearing a deal to open its first Baltimore sales office this summer. Choptank Transport plans to open a 4,000-square-foot office in the Parker Metal building, though a lease has not yet been executed. Choptank will hire 30 employees and open the office around June 1. The Preston-based company would become one of the first tenants in the newly renovated Parker Metal building near M&T Bank Stadium. The property is owned by Himmelrich Associates.
