Maryland reports five new coronavirus cases. The total is now at 17.

Maryland reported five new cases of the novel coronavirus Friday, bringing the state’s total to 17 people. Mike Ricci, communications director for Gov. Larry Hogan, announced the update on Twitter. The new cases include two in Prince George’s County, and one each in Charles, Anne Arundel and Baltimore counties, Ricci tweeted.
