Maryland Insurance Administration to stay in offices downtown following lease dispute

A dispute over a new lease to move the Maryland Insurance Administration’s offices ended Wednesday with a vote by the Maryland Board of Public Works to keep the agency downtown. The vote reversed a plan to move 250 employees from the insurance administration to Montgomery Park in Southwest Baltimore. The agency will instead remain in its offices at St. Paul Plaza downtown.
