The Maryland Board of Public Works on Wednesday gave the state the go-ahead to build a new, wider American Legion Bridge and to add toll lanes to that bridge and to part of Interstate-270. The plan did not include widening and the addition of toll lanes on the section of the Capital Beltway between I-270 an Interstate 95, however, per an agreement reached Friday between Republican Gov.
