Offit Kurman is acquiring Horack, Talley, Pharr & Lowndes, P.A., a move that allows the law firm to enter Charlotte, North Carolina, and expand its reach into the Southeast U.S. The deal will become effective Sept. 1. Offit Kurman, which is based in Howard County, will gain 51 employees including 27 lawyers.
