A local technology executive has been named Baltimore City’s next health commissioner, replacing Dr. Leana Wen who stepped down from the position four months ago to become president of Planned Parenthood. Dr. Letitia Dzirasa will begin the role March 11, pending confirmation hearings, Mayor Catherine Pugh announced Wednesday.
