Shareholders of SunTrust Banks Inc. and BB&T Corp. have approved the $66 billion merger of the two banking institutions. It’s official: Clyde’s Restaurant Group, a 56-year-old institution in Greater Washington’s restaurant scene, is now a subsidiary of Graham Holdings Co. (NYSE: GHC). The University of Maryland, Baltimore will begin work next month on a new community engagement center, a project that will be seven times larger than the school’s current West Baltimore outreach center. The $8 million project will be located at 16 S.
