A piece of West Coast coffee culture is landing soon in Harbor East. Aveley Farms Coffee Roasters — which aims to familiarize Baltimoreans with coffee sourcing, roasting and the brew’s many complex variations — is scheduled to open later this month at 1400 Aliceanna St. The cafe and roastery is the work of Corey Voelkel, a Towson native who developed a passion for specialty coffee while living in San Diego after college.
