BSO musicians call on Gov. Hogan to release $1.6M for orchestra, stop cuts

Baltimore Symphony Orchestra musicians are calling on Gov. Larry Hogan to release $1.6 million in funds designated for the orchestra and set conditions for the money’s use, one day after BSO management announced plans to scale back the group’s season and cancel its summer concerts. In a statement released Friday, musicians urged Hogan to release funds that state legislators fenced off for the BSO toward the end of this year’s General Assembly session.
