Johns Hopkins again tops list of university research spending in 2015

Johns Hopkins University ranked first among U.S. universities in research and development spending in fiscal year 2015, marking the 37th straight year the institution topped the list. Hopkins spent $2.3 billion on human health and technology projects in fiscal 2015. R&D expenditures were 2.8 percent higher than what the school spent in 2014, according to an annual report from the National Science Foundation.
