Health IT startup Tissue Analytics raises $1.9M

Baltimore health IT startup Tissue Analytics has raised $1.9 million in debt to scale up its wound analysis business. The funding comes from unnamed investors. Tissue Analytics’ mobile application takes pictures of wounds to help doctors better analyze them and track their recovery. The technology is a significant upgrade from the tool typically used for this analysis — a basic ruler.
