Johns Hopkins is setting its sights on an end to cancer with its new Bloomberg-Kimmel Institute for Cancer Immunotherapy. The new institute, made possible by a $125 million donation from former New York Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg, Jones Apparel Group founder Sidney Kimmel and other donors, will focus on using patients’ own immune systems to battle cancer.
