Gerald Winegrad: There is no ‘away’ for flushed wastewater on the Chesapeake

We take for granted when we flush out toilets, brush our teeth, shower, or wash clothes and dishes that the wastewater simply goes “away”, disappearing through pipes. I can assure you it does not go “away.“
