Former Orioles minor leaguer Steve Dalkowski is remembered for throwing harder than any other pitcher they’ve seen and living harder than he threw. He died of the coronavirus in April, leaving those in baseball who knew him awestruck by his natural ability and regretful that his demons wouldn’t let him harness it.
