Crofton Middle School teacher’s ‘Meeps’ spur pay-it-forward movement, spreading kindness amid the coronavirus pandemic

For two years, Crofton resident and Takoma Park Middle School teacher Maura Moore has been distributing “meeps,” crocheted spheres with eyes knitted on them, to people of all ages to help them alleviate stress.
