WeWork backs out of its 69k s.f. lease at Harbor Point

WeWork’s lease as an anchor tenant on two floors at Wills Wharf in Harbor Point has been terminated. The highly-touted deal to bring the co-working giant to Baltimore fell apart this spring as the New York-based company worked to restructure. WeWork laid off 2,400 workers over the past year and has struggled during the economic fallout of the novel coronavirus. An abandoned IPO last year caused woes based in concerns over the company’s debt, and chaos after the exit of founder Adam Neumann as CEO.…
