Fourth of July travel spurs highest traffic at BWI Airport since March

The July 4 holiday weekend saw the highest number of travelers catching flights out of Baltimore Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport since before the novel coronavirus crisis hit the travel industry in earnest in March. Nearly 14,000 passengers flew out of BWI on July 2, the most since March 14, according to data the airport released this week.
