Denied U.S. economic relief because of criminal record, Baltimore electrician challenged the system

Baltimore business owner was denied federal relief for his electrical contracting business because of his criminal record; so he challenged the system. Sekwan Merritt won a partial victory in a lawsuit challenging the Small Business Administration’s “criminal history exclusion,” giving him time to apply for Paycheck Protection Program loan.
