As Annapolis public water access dries up, Eastport residents hope South Annapolis Yacht Centre will remain open

For 20 years, Susan Callis launched her kayak at Sarles boatyard in Eastport.The dock was on private property but the previous owner, Deb Smith, let neighbors walk to the water anyway. It was one of a few places in the city that she could put-in that was close by and convenient, Callis said.
