Some Baltimore bars, restaurants opt for renovations amid mandatory dining room closures

Looney’s Pub hadn’t been closed more than a day or two at a time since opening in Canton in 1993 — until the coronavirus hit. The O'Donnell Square staple has now been closed three weeks. But that doesn’t mean there’s nothing going on at the veteran pub. Owner Bill Larney said he’s using the down time to accomplish some much-needed renovations at Looney’s.
