Coalition calls on Hogan to veto digital ad tax bill

A coalition of advertising and media companies wants Gov. Larry Hogan to veto a bill passed by the Maryland General Assembly that would implement a digital advertising tax. The group, which calls itself the Advertising Coalition, argues House Bill 732 is unconstitutional and would have detrimental effects on Maryland’s economy which is already being ravaged by the COVID-19 pandemic.
