Morgan State University surpassed the $250 million funding goal for its latest campaign, by about $4.3 million. The Anniversary Campaign celebrated 2017 being the school’s 150th year in operation. It was the second and largest campaign effort in the school’s history. About 70 percent of the campaign’s goal had already been raised by November 2016, before Morgan State entered the public phase of its fundraising. In total, $254,307,730 in gifts and grants was raised from more than 15,000 supporters.…
