Amazon.com Inc. has been trending downward on Wall Street this week on the news that the company is raising wages for workers in the U.S. The e-commerce giant announced Tuesday it’s increasing its minimum wage to $15 per hour, effective Nov. 1. Since Monday, Amazon shares have lost about $92 in value. For most companies that would be huge, but because Amazon shares are so high-priced, that’s only about a 4 percent decline.
