Arena Football League files for bankruptcy, ceases operations. Here are 7 things you may not know.

The Arena Football League has filed for Chapter 7 U.S. Bankruptcy Court protection and ceased operations. The move comes about a month after the 32-year-old indoor football league shut down team services and business operation units at its six local markets, including Baltimore and Washington, D.C. A Chapter 7 filing means the company does not plan to restructure its debts, and instead intends to shut down.
