The Penn Station redevelopment — long on talk and short on action — is finally moving forward. A $90 million commitment from Amtrak has been hailed as the catalyst for the project’s kickoff next year. Included in the upgrades are a new lobby with better restaurants and retail and a new train platform and tracks for a high-speed line.
