Greater Baltimore Committee backs surveillance planes in city

The Greater Baltimore Committee said Wednesday it’s backing a controversial plan to use aerial surveillance to battle crime in the city. But that stance is at odds with Baltimore Police Commissioner Michael Harrison, who said the plane’s ability to curtail violent crime is so far unproven in any U.S. city.
