A controversial project to build a restaurant next to the Ritz Cabaret in Fells Point is moving forward. City officials issued a construction permit in August for a two-story commercial building at 500 and 502 S. Broadway, and a wooden frame has gone up at the site, where workers were busy Friday. Ritz Cabaret employee Vinni Robinson said the building will be a restaurant attached to the gentleman’s club, though he didn’t know what kind of food it would serve.
