There’s good news about that foul odor around Lake Montebello: It’s temporary

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works said in a news release Monday that Lake Montebello will have a “profound earthy” or “stale odor of the water” over the next two weeks as the water level is lowered to help facilitate plant upgrades.
