Good news, beach fans. Work to replace part of the deck on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge will be completed ahead of schedule, with all lanes of the bridge expected to be fully open sometime this summer, Gov. Larry Hogan said Tuesday. The state began work in September on replacement of the deck of the right lane on the westbound span that was expected to take two years, but that work is expected to finish by summer 2020, he said.
