An island estate was among — but not the — most expensive area home sold last month. See what topped it.

One of the most expensive homes sold in Greater Baltimore last month was a historic mansion located on a private 6-acre island. The four-bedroom house sits on St. Helena’s Island, just off the Severn River in Crownsville and a five-minute boat ride from shore.
