Lawrence “Laurie” Hooper Jr., the longtime general counsel of the Adams Funds, has retired after 21 years with the company. Hooper had been the general counsel and corporate secretary of the Baltimore-based funds since 1997 and was chief compliance officer since 2005. His retirement is effective Tuesday.
