Good morning and welcome to July everyone. Summer has clearly arrived in full force as it’s already 80 degrees and getting even hotter. The first code red extreme heat alert of 2018 was declared by the Baltimore City Health Department Sunday and will be in effect through Tuesday. Yesterday, nearly a thousand people were without power in Baltimore due to heat-related problems. The outages were reported in Waverly, Druid Hill Park area and Fells Point.
