Beer is big business in Maryland, and a new study shows just how much of an economic impact the beer industry makes in the state, as well as how much of the product is taxed. According to a joint report from the National Beer Wholesalers Association and the Beer Institute, the beer industry contributes over $4 billion annually to Maryland’s economy and accounts for 31,727 jobs.
