Highlandtown’s Venice Tavern will soon gain a (much younger) sibling. The venerable basement bar, which opened more than 85 years ago, is adding a sister establishment in Little Italy, operator Damion DeSantis said. The new bar will also be called Venice Tavern and open in the coming weeks at 1018 Eastern Ave. near La Scala Ristorante.
