The University of Maryland Medical System has acquired nine urgent care sites across the state as it looks to continue to expand its services and lower costs. The nine ChoiceOne Urgent Care sites have been operated as a joint venture between three UMMS affiliates — St. Joseph Medical Center, Shore Regional Health and Upper Chesapeake Health — and ChoiceOne since 2015.
