University of Maryland Medical System Foundation would have hosted the annual R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center Gala at the Baltimore Convention Center this coming Saturday. Now, along with essentially every other event in the nation, the gala is canceled due to new social distancing guidelines put in place to slow the spread of COVID-19.
