Hopkins doctor on confronting coronavirus: 'What aren't we doing?'

It doesn’t matter that Maryland hasn’t recorded a coronavirus patient yet. Dr. Gabor David Kelen says Johns Hopkins Medicine started preparing at least six weeks ago for the “worst-case scenario” as the deadly virus continues to spread around the world. “What aren’t we doing?” he said in a phone interview Wednesday. “This has been a full-court press certainly for the last two weeks.” Kelen, director of Hopkins’ Department of Emergency Medicine, said the hospital system has had plenty of practice…
