Aberdeen will finally have a movie theater after 20 years

Aberdeen is abuzz with news that the city is finally getting a movie theater. Horizon Cinemas will open in a former Mars grocery store Friday, making it the only place to see new flicks in the Harford County town. It has been almost 20 years since Aberdeen had its own theater, said City Manager Randy Robertson on Thursday.
