The Maryland Automobile Insurance Fund wrote a $7,500 check to Mayor Catherine Pugh’s Healthy Holly LLC in 2012, Executive Director Mark McCurdy told the Business Journal on Tuesday. McCurdy said MAIF made the donation at the request of then-Executive Director M. Kent Krabbe to Healthy Holly “for its outreach program with the Associated Black Charities.” MAIF also made a $5,000 donation to Associated Black Charities, but records do not say what the donation was for.
