Gypsy Queen 'truckstaurant' eyes Labor Day weekend opening

After more than a year of preparations, a brick-and-mortar “truckstaurant” from the owners of the Gypsy Queen food truck is almost ready to open in Hampden. Gypsy’s Truckstaurant — so named because it combines the indoor seating and service of a restaurant with a kitchen run out of a food truck — is aiming to open this Labor Day weekend, co-owner Tom Looney said.
