Bill Bateman's closing Towson location after 23 years

The Bill Bateman’s Bistro in Towson, a popular hangout for college students for the past 23 years, is closing its doors on June 10. Tony Gebbia, a co-owner of the 7,500-square-foot restaurant, cites the “current business environment” and “new competition” for the closure. “It’s not a viable location anymore,” Gebbia said.
