The ceiling of a large room on the second floor of the Enoch Pratt Central Library used to be covered in white paint and boxy florescent lighting. But historical evidence hinted that beneath the bland exterior was original painting and molding similar to what exists in other parts of the Mount Vernon library that opened in 1933.
